Overview

USTC's MBA program is a high-level program for experienced executives who wish to increase their managerial and strategic skills in an international environment. It allows participants to develop a global and innovative strategic vision in today's complex, unpredictable and interconnected world. This program is a real springboard to reach strategic missions inside your company, reorient your career path or even launch your own business.

Duration: 2 years (1 year for course study + 1 year for internship and thesis)
Tuition: 150,000 RMB in total for each student
Start Date: September 2022
Application Period: From Nov 1st, 2021 to Mar 31th, 2022
Basic Application Requirements: holding Bachelor's degree; at least 3 years' working experience; at least two recommendation letters; English proficiency certificate School/Department: School of Management of USTC
Scholarships: In general, one third of the registered international students could get scholarships, about 50,000RMB, to cover their tuition, and/or accommodation, and/or stipend, based on their semester or annual academic performance.

Our advantages

The program allows students to learn in an environment with both Chinese and Western cultures, providing a unique Chinese perspective in the standard business education.

The program provides a variety of electives for students to customize their curriculum by combining different electives.

The program is delivered by USTC faculty members and foreign experts from different fields. Most faculty members hold a PhD degree from top schools in North America or Europe.

The program has a double-degree agreement with the MBA Program at Foster School of Business, University of Washington, Seattle. These excellent international students could also apply for exchange program which provides students to study in EM Strasbourg Business School, Université de Strasbourg. Students also have the chance to travel to a variety of partner schools in North America, Europe and Asia. Students can get access to USTC MBA alumni network with more than 8,000 graduates in China.

• Master of Engineering in Software Engineering

Overview

Software engineering is an evolving discipline which aims to build and maintain effective and practical high-quality software using engineering methods. Since information technology leads to the rapid development in Internet, cloud computing, big data, and artificial intelligence, there is an increasing demand for talents in this field. Furthermore, School of Software Engineering USTC has been ranked top ten domestically in recent national review and has gained increasingly immense popularity from applicants in China.

Internship Partner Enterprises

We set up internship bases or various cooperation with a list of over 60 IT or IT related companies. The list includes Intel, IBM, Bosch, Zoom, Huawei, Tencent, Baidu, Alibaba and USTC iFlytek. Nearly one year internship in the company boosts students’ confidence in their ability and knowledge for the real industry and equips them with project experiences and employability skills which meet the needs of the enterprises.

• Master of Computer Technology

Overview

Computer technology mainly focuses on how to solve real-world problems and proving that the solutions are correct through the use of computers. It has four core areas, including theory, system, artificial intelligence and software engineering. These areas are closely related to disciplines such as mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, engineering, and economics. This master's program is designed to teach students both the basic and key areas of computer science while becoming senior programmers, system designers or researchers in specific fields within computer science. Also, the program will provide counseling programs and financial assistance to help graduates with potential and interest to start a business and encourage outstanding graduates to pursue doctoral degrees. The domestic ranking of computer science of our school has been stable, maintaining its rank in top 3-5. In recent years, the world ranking of computer science at USTC has been stable within the top 100.
